We're here for you
As members of the VCU community, we’re all expected to perform our duties with the highest ethical standards and integrity. With that in mind, the Integrity and Compliance Office is here to support you by providing compliance training and resources as well as guidance on matters related to ethics, integrity and compliance. For an overview of what we offer, please see below.
If you’re new to VCU
- As part of the onboarding process through Human Resources, you’ll complete the Employee Policy Review checklist. This includes a review of the:
- You’ll also be assigned the latest VCU Core Training release via Talent, VCU's learning management system
If you’re an existing employee
- You’ll complete the biannual VCU Core Training
- We update the ICO's contribution to the Core training with each release, keeping the content fresh and relevant
- Because we feel so strongly about ensuring all employees understand VCU’s policies, standards and expectations, failure to complete this training may be considered during your performance management review
- You and your department/school/unit can request and participate in one of our workshops, tailored for your team.
- You can stay up to date on policy changes by reading the Policy Quarterly newsletter
- You can learn about current trends in ethics and compliance, as well as cases we have investigated and lessons we can learn from them, by subscribing to the monthly ICO blog Compliance Corner
- You can access multiple training materials, job aids and presentations on ethics and compliance via the ICO Resource Library
- You can also call the Integrity and Compliance Office to ask questions or seek guidance about matters relating to ethics, integrity and compliance. We’re available during normal business hours at (804) 828-2336 or ucompliance@vcu.edu
